HD-500 offshore drilling rig is exceptionally designed for marine geological exploration. It is widely suitable for various highly-effective drilling techniques, including diamond wire-line coring, heave compensation directional drilling, continuous circulation coring (sample drilling), etc.
HD-500 offshore rig consists of the power system, hydraulic control system, tower, power head feeding and lifting winch, surface casing winch, wire-line coring winch, winch impact, top head, accumulator, slurry carrying and mixing system. Energy changing is available to cater for users’ demands.
This oil drilling rig allows manual direction control to realize accurate and easy operation, ensuring the efficiency and safety of coring working.

1. Modular design of this offshore drilling rig facilitates assembly and disassembly and helps to improve capacity and reliability of the offshore rig.
2. 4-speed manual transmission endows the offshore rig with reliable strength and easy maintenance. Stepless speed regulating between 0 and 1200 is possible. This allows wide range of speed and large torque, achieving various speed choice for different drilling techniques, especially diamond drilling.
3. 6.5-meter feeding stroke of the rig is conducive to improve the drilling efficiency. Complete sets of speedometer, pressure gauge, oil thermometer that show various parameters make it convenient to monitor and control the operation and drilling condition of rigs. This is helpful to prevent and reduce accidents.
4. Critical parts of this oil drilling rig like hydraulic pump, motor, draw-works and major hydraulic parts from leading Chinese or overseas manufacturers ensure reliable performance, easy maintenance and low maintenance costs.
5. The hydraulic system adopts reliable new sealing structure. Hydraulic-driven mud pump and mud agitator require no auxiliary power during the drilling process.
